FASA Group was established in December, 2010, from a partnership of two groups in animal by-products recycling sector, Faros Group from Brasil, and SAPI Group from Italy.
One group, the Faros Groupwith over 35 years of tradition is considered one of the largest in the animal recycling segment. The other group, SAPI Group , comes to aggregate forces, with long tradition in Italy and in other countries. SAPI Group has been working hard for over 50 years and brings its extensive experience in international market.
In 2016, the Chile company Corpesca, belonging to the Angelini Group joined the FASA Group bringing its experience of more than 65 years of global operations in the marine, animal and vegetable protein segment.
In 2020, the Brazilian company Oleoplan, one of the largest industries in the soy processing and biodiesel production sector, joins the FASA Group, adding its experience of more than 40 years of experience and sustainable production in these segments.
The FASA Group currently has fifteen industrial plants for the processing of animal waste in Brazil, five in RS, two in SC, one in PR, two in MS, one in MT, one in RO, two plants in PA and one in MG.
